1. Racism, sex, and profanity are some of the reasons why books are banned in schools.

2. I agree with all of these reasons. Children under a specific age like 10 or 12 shouldn't be reading any books under these topics. In addition, Racism is still a problem today and we don't want to add salt to the open wound.

3. I think the principle, teachers, and parents should be able to pick which books are allowed to be read. Mostly the parents since it is their child.

4. If a person wanted to fight censorship, they could bring up the fact that children are going to be exposed to these topics as they grow up. So there is no point in trying to sensor it if they will learn about it sooner or later. Also, you can senor it at school, but you don't know what the child sees or reads out of school. Like parents can have books lying at home that contain profanities, racism or sex. So really there is no point in trying to sensor it if the problem is too big to cover.
