1. the article relates to what we are learning in class because we are learning about hinduism an we also learned about tgecastesystem. we learned that the untouchable where so lower class that you couldn't be seen with them.

2. i think that different people respond the same way to the caste system in india. i belive that as long as they are not dalits that they can live as they wish an when they see a dalit that they try to humiliate them in any way possible.

3.the treatment of the dalits realtes to the slaves we had back in the 1800s because they were both treated poorly, they were not given oppertunities and they were humiliated in ba ways.

4.the question that poped into my head is why ont the untouchables try to get the rights they deserve insted of just being bossed around by the people of india.
