1. Summarize your article



My article is a about Japan after a year of recovering from the earthquake and tsunami from last year. Japan is slowly recovering from the destruction of the natural disasters that hit March 11, 2012. Japan is rebuilding again and is trying to make sure they are making a full recovery. Though, Japan's tourism rate is relatively low. It has gone down around 28%!l(MISSING)ast year. Japan is spending money advertising them to increase the tourism once again. Japan plans to make a full recovery mid 2012 or by March, 2013.







2. How does your current event relate to topics or ideas that we have discussed in world history. Explain fully



This relates to how places rebuilt after a tragic accident or after something bad happened. For example the black plague was bestowed on the world, and when half the population died they had to rebuild their own society again. Like Japan they had to rebuild their own societies so that it could be the same, and even netter than before







3. Is there evidence of cause and effect in your article? How so?



The huge cause was the natural disasters that happened last year, and the effect was that Japan had to rebuild themselves up again.



4. What powerful questions does your article make you ask? What information do you need to answer these questions?



One question is I have is:



How is Japan advertising their country?



I would have to know the ways they are adverting, and where they are.
