Occupy Wall Street is a movement that has been going on for rougly about 65 days. It first began on September 17, 2011. It is a leaderless movement against the corrupt democracy we are living in today. Since it is a leaderless movement, each person in the protest has the privilege to be the leader of the movement. It is a movement that people are doing because they want a less corrupt government. These people are protesting against corporations and government because they believe they are being underpaid and are working in bad environments. This protest has been occurring throughout the United States; two big cities that have been a big part of this is Chicago and New York City. This protest has a big impact on me and my family because in the future if this movement is successful, I will be working in better environmental conditions and with a better salary.
