Hey all,

Less than 24 hours after my arrival back in Atlanta from Sydney, I followed Logan and Adrienne to Chicago, Illinois, for supporting their first marathon. I never have guessed that we would be part of history. Chicago Marathon turned out to be a brutal event due to unexpected heat, and the official were forced to shut down the course four hours after the start in the mid of 88-degree heat and sweltering humidity. One runner died on the race course, while 49 others were brought to hospital and some 250 were treated at the site.

Unfortunately Logan and Adrienne also didn’t finish the marathon with some 10,934 other runners. We were a little bit upset, but nothing we can do at this point.
