In less than 24 hours, I will be boarding a plane and leaving the US for 2 months. This has come so much sooner than I anticipated – school finished less than a week ago and I took my MCAT last Saturday. It’s just been one thing after another. Thanksfully, I will have plenty of time to catch up on sleep on my over 24 hours of air travel. Only about 4 weeks until I leave for PNG! I'll be flying out from Chicago on Monday, May 6. I have been overwhelmingly blessed and humbled by the outpouring of support that I have received from friends and family. Contributions continue to come in, even after I have surpassed my goal of fundraising the airfare! Almost all of my living and travel expenses and will be covered too! To those of you who have supported me, again I say "Thank you!" This is the blog that I will use while I am overseas.
