A Day Off!

We needed it and we sure enjoyed it. Not so much for sleeping in, but for not having to get up and pack. ]spent a lot of time catching up on the Internet (watch out if you're on his "Fwd" list, and I bought some new walking shoes. Did I mention I'd forgotten mine at home? Boise has a nice outlet mall and I ran over there this morning. Getting my size at an outlet is no easy task, so there Will Be No Jokes when you see these shoes. And then of course, since I was at the outlet mall and alone. . . well just a couple of things from Eddie Bauer, and good bargains, too.
After we had lunch, we went to the World Center for Birds of Prey. Ralph has always liked these majestic birds and we both enjoyed seeing California Condors close up - huge! We also say Peregrine Falcon, Bald Eagle, Aplomado Falcon, Gyrfalcon and Harpy Eagle (this bird has to be seen to be appreciated!) Definitely worth it for any bird fan and as a wonderful experience for families.
