Honolulu Fire Recruits
Class #96
24 in 24 out Well we are on our way back to Chicago. We left this morning from LA and plan 3 hard days of driving.
We returned from Honolulu last night. We had a wonderful time at Adam's graduation from the Fire Academy and we were able to celebrate the next night with him and his friends from the dive shop.
He was one of a class of 24. And for the first time in anyone's memory all 24 graduated.
We are so proud of him and his accomplishments. He began work on Monday and we were able to stay until he got home after his first 24 hrs shift to hear all about it. Hawaiians can sleep better now knowing he is on duty.
Adam and Jessica also took us whale watching on Sunday and we saw lots of whales. Another item to check off the bucket list.
We can't thank our friends Nancy and Steve enough for their hospitality before and after our flights to Honolulu. They are always right there for us to be sure we get to and from LAX.
