We got to Hawai on super bowl sunday and went straight to a bar for burgers and cheap drinks, we had a bet and clo won a fiver! doh!
Waikkiki is pretty built up and we missed our road trip but it was nice to be in one place for the end of the holiday.
our hotel was nice although we changed rooms to one over the pool after two nights cos our old one was so noisy, room 1010 was nicer too, different layout and bigger. well worth a five dollar tip!
we went to Hanauma bay twice and went up diamond head which is an old volcano, we also went to a rainforest park and got bit to pieces.
would love to go back and see more of our island and the others and do the cruise that Chris and Clare anne did.
It was Pro bowl weekend when we left which i would liked to have stayed for, its like the charity shield with all the best american football players playing each other, it was also the last time it was going to be in Hawai, it meant that our hotel filled up
with tons of people, esp the pool for the party on the sunday!
the downside was the long trek home, over twenty hours travelling, toke me a week to get over it!
still better than flying into Gatwick! at least you get to see London on the way in !
