A hibiscus blossom in Waikiki
We arrived at 8 pm at night. My internal clock was not set and it was 1 o'clock in the morning in Dallas! My foot had a pain from flying so much, and it hurt when I walked. The first day, we explored our hotel room and our location. It turned out that there is one major chain store named "ABC store". It is almost like the 7 eleven shop. After we explored our location, we decided to swim in Waikiki beach. My mom bought me a wet suit and it covered my neck to my thigh. The beach had some big waves. I tested out my snorkel in the ocean and it worked fine. I sort of "surfed" the waves. What I would do is get on my little boogie board and wait for a wave. The goal is to get over the wave when it breaks. It is really fun.
