Edit Blog Post

We havent updated the blog for a while cos we havent been doing anything and it is great!!

Last time we were properly active was in Universal Studios, I think Paul was quite disappointed with the lack of rides there (as there were only 3) but for me, I am not a lover of theme parks and rollercoasters so it was fun, apart from the never ending plugging of evan almighty which was v irritating! We went on the jurassic park ride 3 times with its 80 foot drop at the end (paul persuaded me to keep my eyes open for the drop the last time we went on!) but nothing was more scary than being chased by the guy from the texas chainsaw massacre in the house of horrors!

Just as a little aside they have loads of solar panels installed at universal studios!

We are in Hawaii having a great time at the mo, it is absolutely gorgeous here so we have not done much more than lie on the beach and play in the sea, which doesnt make for a very intresting blog! We did have an exciting day of spotting weird trees and wildlife though and have thrown ourslves into the touristy culture here - paul with his hawaiian shirts and me with my lei and shell necklace (no grass skirts yet though!)

We did attempt to go on a walk inside the crater of a volcano but it was too hot and the path was too steep, so we gave up 3/4 of the way top the summit and watched loads of old and/or fat people continue to the top and put us to shame!

nice pictures
now you are in new zealand how about a picture of a dissapointed all blacks fan! I am afraid I was personally responsible for Australia's win. The falcons new signing had a big hand in the game, he got himself sin-binned and australia scored 14 points when he was off the field! There is a bloke from Lanchester on Big Brother and he has already won £100,000, yawn yawn bet you're please you dont get that in NZ. Can't understand the NZ climate. I suppose its winter but its still roughly on the same lattitude as gibraltar/morrocco would be in the Northern Hemisphere. To my mind its got to be warm still. Does the water in the sink run away clockwise or anti clockwise? Love dad

I'm gutted i'm missing big bro, got really into it last year! First few days here it wasnt too bad, but for the last 2 days it has been really cold and has rained constantly (just like home!). We are in rotorua at the mo, so not only is it tipping with rain but it smells of rotten eggs as well!

Great pictures! I dont think much of your new primative family though Paul! Trying to replace us :( ! And I agree the beaver doesn't look much like a beaver... I still cant believe you got to see Brad Pitt. Everyone is so jealous of you. Well all the girls! I dont think Michael or dad mind too much! lol I want to go to Hawaii now. The sea looks so clean and blue. Even the wierd looking tree thing looks kinda pretty! So are you off to Austrailia next? If you happen to see any of the Home and Away cast you can take a few photos for me! lol! Glad you enjoying your trip! love natalie xxxxx

Hawaii is definitely the best place we have been to. Is such a shock to the system being in New Zealand, it's not really stopped raining. Saw some Maori doing the haka today, and I joined them in the hokey-kokey. . . Never Again!! Paul xxx
