Build Day #2

Aloha!



Welcome to day two of the build! Today was a tad bit hotter and we were all a tad bit sore. We started off the morning with a delicious breakfast made for us by our team leader to fuel us for the day. We got to the build site at 8:00am ready to continue the work we started yesterday and begin some new tasks. The roofing team worked hard to almost complete the first roof while another hard working team started building the porch. The third group worked hard to help clean up the job sites and ran into a few native creatures. YIKES! All in all, we ended the day pretty exhausted, yet we accomplished so much!



For dinner we headed over to the Kauai Culinary Market to enjoy some delicious food and hit a few shops.



Now it’s time for bed!
