Oct 22nd Blog Entry - Build Day #5

Well, its Friday and the week has surely gone fast. As usual we headed to the Habitat Restore at the start of our morning. But as we circled up for the devotion and talked about the goals for the day, we learned we would not be spending our first hour in the store today. Since we spent over a half day at the store on Thursday, Cindy was fine with us devoting the entire day on the home. Our day was very busy and productive. We worked on getting the rest of the trusses on the front and back porches. We also installed all the venting blocks around the entire roof line. And we also continued to work on hurricane reinforcement tasks.

We again went to the Salvation Army Community Center for lunch today. And right after lunch we stopped for ice cream to give us a bit of energy to get us thru the rest of the afternoon.

After work we headed back to take showers and then went to an art festival in Hanapepe for the evening.
