Josh - the newest street performer at Mallory Square!
Today started out as lazily as the rest of our trip. After our clean laundry arrived (that's right, I'm on vacation and I sent our laundry out to fluff and fold where they pick up, wash, fold and deliver all your clean clothes), we hit Harpoon Harry's for breakfast.

After breakfast, we loaded up the dingy, piled on the sunscreen and headed out to sea for a cruise. We were in search of a snorkeling spot and/or a sandbar to hang out. We found a bunch of patch reef right off one of the islands just outside the Key West channel. We snorkeled and hung out for a while. While snorkeling, Josh found a really cool shell that looked a lot like a conch shell. It appeared to be empty, so he put it in his pocket with every intention of keeping it. Once we got back to the dingy, he pulled it out and started cleaning it off. He kept telling us that he thought something was inside the shell, but we couldn't see anything. About 20 minutes later, we saw a tiny fiddler crab inside. Sadly, because the fiddler crab made the shell its home, we put it

back in the water. Bye bye little crab!

On the way back, we found a sandbar, so we stopped, swam, played paddle ball, threw the football for a while and relaxed a little more. We headed back to shore to take a dip in the pool and get ready for happy hour. Not sure why they call it happy hour here...they should just call it happy day!

We decided to head over to the Sunset Show at Mallory Square. On the way, we saw one of the local fishing boats cleaning their catch and feeding the tarpon. These are the biggest, fattest tarpon I have ever seen. Josh tried to catch a picture of them.

The Sunset Show was a lot of fun. We watched one act with a guy who has his dog Cleo walk across a tightrope and jump up to collect a $5 bill from a crowd participant. Josh got to be part of the show! We watched another girl purportedly swallow a 40 inch balloon and then walk on glass. The last performer we saw actually got himself into a straight jacket, got chained and locked up, and then got himself out of

it all. These people are all a little odd, but extremely entertaining.

After that, we ate at one of our Key West favorite spots...Cayo Hueso. They have delicious cuban food. All in all, it was another wonderful day!
