In reference to the Jasper "Old Jail" investigation.
First of all Id like to say, if you think this little "fairytail" you wrote about our small town was cute. You are wrong, you made yourself look really stupid instead of the other way around.Also I'd like to say I hope you didnt think you were being cute about the name of the "Old Jail" it is named that for a reason, one you wouldnt know about because you are an outsider and dont know the history of our small town. The children that were on the steps of the "old jail" the night you arrived are probably smarter then you are as Im sure they all welcomed you with politeness and good manners...something you dont have yourself, please dont ever come back to our small town and we definaitly wont come looking for you, I will also make sure to keep your little TV show from gaining many viewers because of your stupidity, Ill make sure they will know that you arent a good investment and then you can get a new job as a grave digger, that ought to suit you as you never know who might be from the little town you decided you wanted to talk down about! listen asshole, the people of this town were more than greatfull to help you guys out. the fine people that you are on here talking shit about and calling names happen to be pretty good friends of mine. they didnt beg you to come here. if you didnt want to, plain and simple, you should have stayed your stupid ass at home. it seems to me that the event that put the wire in your ass was getting stopped in white springs. you say you dont think you were going too fast, but you said you was running 10 mph over the speed limit. thats speeding my friend. you dont write the laws, but you must obey them. and this town does not consist of one huge family. there are many families here, but all are friends and they will surely kick your ass for you if you come back. so the best you can do is find somewhere else to do your phoney fake ass tv show, because put bluntly, YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE! so stay in jacksonville and enjoy your fucked up life.

What a lovely description of a place that welcomes you with open arms and warm smiles. Maybe it should be made public how your "Local Haunt" sites are treated. How long do you think little podunk places would welcome you then? I grew up in Jasper. Yes, it is a small town. There is no mall, no all night liquor store, nor do they need a GPS to get around; but for your information, you passed a grocery store on the way to the jail. Just sayin', I totally understand how you missed it. Being the huge star you think you are, it has to be hard to yank your head out of your ass to see where you're going! I have not lived in Jasper in 20 years, but I am very offended by the above blog and pretty damn certain I know both the cop and the nice lady that gave you the tour of jail. You should be ashamed. And as for "The Children of the Corn", you're right, maybe they should have been in the bed; but you can bet your city slicker ass someone knew where they were and they all had a bed to go to! As for the "deliverance music", that was Hollywood dumbass. I don't really know why you would have been offended anyway, people in your neck of the woods usually pay for that sort of shit. I do however appreciated the remark about us being one big family of 1900. 'Cause you know what? "WE ARE!" Small town people have morals, and 90% of the people you just trashed would have welcomed you into their homes, helped you in need and NEVER bad mouthed you like you have them. The recording, "I'll cut ya", is super interesting, but I can guarantee that after this, you won't have any problem figuring out where it is coming from!

For those of you who feel completely disrespected by this blog, I want you to remember the Constitution of the United States...you know, the part that says every American has the right to free speech? I understand how this blog could offend the many families and large population of Jasper, but as the reasonable, respectful people you claim to be, you should take this blog in stride. Understand that everyone has their own opinion and take on places they visit. Michael was just exercising his right to free speech, and expressing some thoughts about a place he visited. Right or wrong, it doesn't constitute all the hate mail y'all left him. However, you guys were just, in turn, exercising your right to free speech as well. Let's just move on from this. If you're really offended by this blog, you should create your own blog, correcting any facts you believe were done an injustice through his words. Instead of hate mail or commenting negatively on this blog, create a blog about all of the history, family-like setting, and the other wonderful things Jasper has to offer. Thanks. I live in Florida, and I've been to Jasper. I live down on the northwest end of Florida, but although I was raised down here I'm not afraid to admit that the entire state of Florida, spare Miami, Tallahassee, and Orlando, is a backwards little po-dunk area. There is no way around it. We get influxes of people form JAWJAW AND ALABAYMA who PRAYSE JAYSUS and are the most redneck people you'll ever meet. Quite frankly, I'm glad that people are happy with this state and can show pride for it, but I just find it to be quite shitey. I've lived here for most of my life and I just hate it. You people posting comments threatening these guys isn't going to make them change their mind and will only make them find your town creepier. So just calm the fuck down.

thair has come movie stars, arts, preachers, teachers from Jasper Fla, and White Springs Fla. WHy would andy one want to live in these places, cause we were born and raised when times were hard, and the rivers were full of fish, and the hunting is and was great. Please dont put a place down if you dont know the whole story behind these place. Cause your preacher friend or family might have started in one of these places. I was born and raised thair but moved on to full fill my place in life, and every chance I get i go home to site under a live oak tree, or walk the banks of the rives, which the minning has messed the rivers up. Or vist with friends and family. No matter how far i go I all ways want to take the time to come home to Jasper Fla. vist white spring where my school years were the best, and friends long time, friends. so befor you go making fun of my home town, think agaion, we still hold it dear.

I must say I understand the "Freedom Of Speech" in the constitution, but you saying that White Springs is like a horror movie is very offensive. You will find the nicest, and best people here. Yes, that makes a lot of sense! -It was a rather uneventful trip up until the city of White Springs. It\'s another little podunk nowhere town along back roads of horse country. I really have no idea why the city even exist.- Maybe you should go back and read a history book as to why this precious town exists, if you do know how to read. \"President Theodore Roosevelt came to White Springs, FL during the late 1890s and early 1900s according to the Ocala Star-Banner to enjoy the relaxing sulfur waters.\" -Why people would live 50 miles from the nearest grocery store is beyond me, unless they are growing their own food.- Why would you say this when there is a grocery story across the street? Are you blind? High? Or scared out of your mind? -It\'s the kind of city that is so boring that if it is along your path to anywhere else, you\'re going to drive thru as fast as possible.- If you feel that way, don\'t bother. That is what Interstate 10 and Interstate 75 is for. -But we did catch some evidence that there is something going on.
