3/6/2014 - Orlando, FL to Homestead/Florida City, FL

3/6/2014 - We head further south to Homestead/Florida City today. Raining today.

Only issue today was got really low on gas as we took a route through Okeechobee, FL.

Made it to Homestead, staying in Southern Comfort RV Park. Has an open tiki bar in the park, but we did not visit it. Another small issue developed, a power pole had broken and the wire was hanging a little lower than the top of our rv. Did not hit it, but rubbed against it on the front when we parked. This rv park is a good place to stay if headed for the Keys as it is about 1/4 mile of US 1.

Went to KFC for supper.
