Headed east to the coast - Fort Pierce and then north to Merritt Island to Melbourne and Cocoa Beach. The beaches in Melbourne were very nice and the sport of the day was body boarding on the waves. Then on to the Kennedy Space Center where we spent several hours. They are preparing for the April 29th shuttle. The tour includes a variety of films and presentations as well as bus rides to shuttle pads, etc. It is amazing the size of the rocket boosters used to get the command module into space. From there we continued to head north to Daytona Beach. Tomorrow we head towards Georgia.
