What to do in Perth, Australia

I am trying to figure out what to do while I am in Perth. I don't think I will make the trek over to Rottnest Island (really don't like rodent-looking marsupials)...but trying to figure out which tour to take in Margaret River (or just take the bus there and stay a couple of days). Swan River wineries and Pinnacles also look appealing. So much to do in just a few days!
