The group
just girls ... 21/05 : First day of the trail ... woke up early and left Queens on time to met the group I was going with in this adventure ... all girls (not good hehe) from Germany, Check Republic , Russia, etc and 2 funny girls from Argentina...
our first stop was Philadelphia , the Liberty Bell hangs here, and it was here that Thomas Jefferson proclaimed the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Nice little town , we didn't have that much time here to look around .. next stop Washigton D.C.
This was the first night of the trip, during the hole week we have to set the tent up every night and break it down in the mornings !!!
22/05: we got to visit a lot of places and monuments here like: the Washigton monument , the Lincon Memorial , Vietnam Veteran and Korean War Memorials, the white house , the capitol , etc. ...
23/05: spent the day in Gettysburg ... nigth in Niagara Falls.
24/05: the hightlight of the trip ... Niagara Falls the most well-known waterfalls in the world ! ... I went right into the spray of the falls on the "Maid of
Washington D.C
washington monument the Mist" boat ride ... this moment was really breathtaking ... definitelly the best part of the trip.
25/05: Boston , Massachusetts. Lovely place looks like an old european town with narrows streets and brick buildings ... after visiting downtown I took the subway and went to Harvard (where my dear president Toledo studied).
26/05: Plymouth , here my tour guide told us that in 1620 the pilgrims landed on the Mayflower, which still can be visited here. Then we drove to Cape Cod , Provincetown ... this was the last nigth of the trip , we camp in a place near to the beach in Connecticut. We decided to have a little get together meeting and had some beers ...tomorrow New York.
27/05: New York New York ... I was so glad I did my little tour around the city before ..because the tour guide just drove and drove around , he didn't want to stop ... and when he did it was just for 10 min... What can you see in just 10 min?... anyways .. this was the end of my 1 week trip ... great memories.
