Today was spent riding on the Big Red Hop on/off bus after visiting the White House on a tour we arranged through our congressman several months earlier. We decided to take a cab there instead of the metro system since we didn’t want to take any chance on getting lost or being late for our appointment. It was an $11.00 fare from the hotel, which was great and it got us right to the corner of the White House destination. At the White House there was strict security and both dad and I were pulled for background checks. They said our birthdates were listed wrong. Several other people were pulled as well.
