JJ's wedding was outstanding! A great time with good friends and family! Emily flew in and we had a blast! It was her first time in Colorado and she got to see everything from blue sky to snow! Mom, I need a picture of JJ and his wife from the wedding! I didn't take any pictures! I would love to put one on the blog for the fellas back home if you could email me one! All the pictures are copyrighted by Emily Robinson!!! I miss her each day! It is hard to be townie and then return to the woods. Once in the woods you get used to it and adapt, but the first few days back are tough...Your thoughts are all about a good hot meal, warmth, love, friends, etc. But, we must sieze ... read more

To get this blog rolling, I wanted to take a few steps back in time to June 2006 where we ventured from here in Corpus Christi, Texas to Steam Boat Springs Colorado for the Rainbow Gathering. Soooo...im going to cheat just a little for these first few entires. I have a tendancy to be quite verbose when I write, so I'm taking the liberty to write several entries about rainbow! I'm taking these from another blog that I have, so if they are confusing because of that, Immmm sorrrrryyyyy. Also, here is a list of the people involved in this saga that you will hear referred to: People: * Chris- yup chris, my now former fiance and best friend. * Michelle- My girlie! Also referred to as "M" or "Shel" in my writings. * Boobacita- M's ... read more

Continued from the previous three posts OK! I’m back with the (hopefully) last rainbow installment! It sure is motivating to write these when people kept beggin for it! Specially Daisy cuz she’s so uber cute and I know she is for REAL comin to Rainbow next year! Oh, and to all of you who say you want to…DO IT! Why not just do it?? I’ll keep you all updated as to where it is, but it is the SAME time every year, July 4th. Plan a few days to travel, and however many days you want to spend in the woods. It’s free!! Getting there may cost you money if you drive…unless of course you run on Veggie (OOOHHH SNAP!). But its an amazing experience and it is completely possible for you to do. Everyone is ... read more

Continued from the previous two posts about Rainbow. Scroll past the People names and Dictionary if you've already seen it! Part 3- Third Day, Michelle Arrives! I left off telling you about my day with the Six Up, escorting them around the Gathering. It was the second day I was in Rainbow and still no Michelle yet! Last I heard from her before my phone went out of service was that she would look for the bus, which she would hopefully recognize from all the photos, and leave me a note. I had learned from wondering around the gathering that I really didn't think it was a good idea to not WAIT for her when she came, because it was just way too easy to get lost the first few days. So the night before I ... read more
