Natalie's first school was right near her home in the town of Delagua. It was a two story brick building and on the front of the school was a sign posted saying
1902 Longfellow. The school was named after the poet. Linda found a photo of the school years ago and it is posted here.
Natalie also had the company of her cousins that lived next door to her. Her mother's brother had three children also. The youngest child was 7 months older than Natalie and the other two were separated by a few years each. They lived there for the entire 12 years that Tally grew up in Delagua and they were her best play mates.
