Todays chores are done, just one more beer to drink

Todays travels are done and I'm now in 29 Palms, yes that's the name , with numbers and all.
I finally managed to get started, some jetlag is gone so it was time to leave the nice Tuckers to their own devices.
Thanks to James' instructions i hit a very nice road up in the mountains lots of curves and lots of nice views.
And good driving as the traffic was basically non existing, still you have to take care.
I hit 7112 feet which is rather high up and you don't even notice, Orange went up and down like anything, The KTM, so far anyway, is a very nice bike albeit a bit thirsty but then again the petrol is half price compared to Sweden.
But still.....
Yesterday we went out and had a very nice Mexican dinner with all the trimmings including two pitchers of Margaritas, very easy to drink that stuff I must say.
It so much fun to be on roads that are new, not like the same old cup of tea at home.
Going through the desert I think about the people whoc crossed the desert with waggon trains not knowing if and when they'd find water and food.
I zip across the desert at 130 km/h and find it a bit monotonous, and they probably went a 5 km/ h at most , they most certainly had a set of brass ones.

Yesterday was a loong day drove far too much and am now the proud owner of a baboons arse.

The Joshua tree was nice, very stange trees(?) indeed and a landscape to go with it.

There's a big bikemeet in Laughlin probably 999 permille Harleys, a couple of beemers and one KTM ,that's me.

If I haven't written it before I will now, this a bikers paradise grand vistas good roads , cheap petrol, reasonable motels and everyone you talk to is nice and friendly.

Kingman where I am rigth now, does not have a "center" as many other places I've gone through on this trip so far, the town is just a lot of houses spread along a road definitely created for the nation dependant on cars.

Had a big burrito for dinner and a Margarita as well. The Margaritas was purely for medicinal purposes, see baboon's arse.

No map for yesterdays trip, the internet sucks bigtime
