hello everyone, thanks for replying,we have just had a lovely time reading them all..well ,its our last night in america and we all feel a little like we are leaving a new found friend.its been so much fun!everyone we have encountered ,without exception, has been a delight, sounds cheesy i know but its true! highlights :busing it around la , the venice beach vibe, hollywood sites,..the getty museum in la,universal studios ,california science museum,,disneyland and the rainforest cafe (disney village) and the feeling that you are an extra in american movie at all times.Everything is larger than life ,and i feel we are just getting a hang of it now and its time to go.,,.lowlights was craig getting seriously poked in the eye by a twirling, mickey mouse wielding molly and my navigational skills whilst craig negotiated left hand steering and road use..mmm..moving swiftly on:tomorrow we fly to britain, feeling excited and anxious, its been a long time.Kids are so excited to be reconnecting with their friends james and jessica but have no idea of what they are going too.we live in hope that between then and now craig manages to lose the american accent...........

Coming to the Boro
Wow!! you've had such an amazing time, we are sooo jealous! LA is an amazing place and something everyone should experience, you can not fully describe it to someone and give them the full low down on the place without them having done it too. I loved Venice beach too, all the amazing varieties of the weird and wonderful! The kids are so excited, it's very surreal that for so long we have been saying Charlie, Mollie and Jemima are coming next yr...in 6 months...etc etc and now it's been down to how many sleeps and now OMG it's tomorrow!! we can't wait for our stint with you all, enjoy your last night, last few hours and even down to the last few minutes of your stay in the fabulous LA and we'll see you real soon. Tell Craig that if he doesn't lose that bloody accent he can forget opening the Newcastle Brown ale we have waiting for him.............xxxxxx

Great to hear you have had an amazing time in LA guys. You certainly filled every day you were there by the sounds of it you must be ready for a holiday! All is good here flipping freezing and hailed really full on last night we thought it was snowing. My Dad got through his op really well and is back in Tauranga in a rehab unit he basically has to learn to do everything again so still a long way to go and hoping that he can learn. Haven't really been up to much other than family stuff and watching rugby as Jo made it to a Hamilton rep team, will be off to Tauranga this weekend again not nearly as exciting as England. Take care great to read your blogs. Love the Meek whanau xx

Well what a dick to get pricked with Mick's stick.
Hi Trons Sounds like you are having a blast. I am now able to read your blog as Sue has deserted me and her laptop. She has had to race over to Pomgolia cos her Mum is pretty crook. Mum a lot better now which is good. Your house is still standing proudly upon the hilltop. Let me know if you need anything. Flynn and I went fishing last weekend with the Trout Man. Pissing with rain. Ahhh. I did manage to land a nice 4 pound rainbow. Full boasting will have to rate till your return because words can't really describe it. Speaking of, Flynny got player of day today. You would have been proud. Tackled like a demon. Sue said if you were keen to catch up for a swift half then give her a call (or just a catch up) She has her phone on roaming (0212663311) Must go now and see if the beers are cold for tonights AB game. Have fun campers. Frank.
