Departure morning is finally here! I am supposed to be packing my laptop and not posting a blog, but I was packed about a week ago and am all showered up and raring to go. Today we head to San Francisco, where I imagine a culinary and cultural adventure awaits. We are staying right smack dab in the middle of the city - all within striking distance of all the places we hope to visit this trip.

We may not be able to do it all, but what fun to try.

In our truck, we have two very full suit cases (OK, only mine is very full but a girl needs wardrobe choices), a cooler, a roller bag filled with miscellaneous items of creature comfort. Loading and unloading may be an odyssey, but we won't go for want.
