I arrive near the Trinity Alps. On the way here nothing remarkable happened. I have mostly been stuffing my face every day with pizza from the Pizza Factory, I seemed to have developed a minor addiction there that I'll have to rectify soon. I also grabbed some cool Venison, Elk, and Buffalo Jerky from a gas station somewhere north of Sacramento. Anyway, to continue, I get to Coffee Creek Road, 20 miles down which the trailhead lies. It's late though, so I'll head down it tomorrow morning. For now I go and shower down the road at a KOA campground (the Coffee Creek campground's water wasn't working), and then camp out near a little clearing on Hwy 2 south of Coffee Creek.
