San Francisco

We stayed for 2 nights in San Francisco before got our car. During those two days we stayed most time at the port from which we also planed to go to Alcatraz. Unfortunately the tour was booked out for the upcoming 5 days. So visited a submarine from the 2nd world war which was quite interesting. As soon as we had our car, we went on the 49Miles scenic drive. This is a drive through San Francisco on which we saw a lot of San Francisco. Besides it’s sometimes a little bit difficult to see the signs of the drive, I absolutely can recommend this drive.
After that we headed east of San Francisco to Yosemite. But that’s an other story…
