This is me looking stupid in Japantown
In lieu of my newly developed tendency to travel on/near the fourth of July (gotta celebrate our country’s independence, right? Last year, MEXICO, this year, CALIFORNIA), I visited my friend/ old neighbor, Tileli, in San Francisco. She happened to have her internship there this summer so luckily, I was able to take advantage of it. I flew in around 5pm on Thursday, and as soon as I got outside of the airport I decided I could live in California. The weather was beautiful: sunshiny and cool. The scenery from the taxi window was equally beautiful: all the mountains were a site to see). After getting there, we decided to go to Japantown for dinner. Since she lived rather close to that neighborhood, it was just a short walk. At the place that we went to, everyone sits around this huge oval-shaped table. However, other than its wasabi-like color and texture, it tasted like normal cheesecake with maybe a slight hint of green tea. Since that was a rather unsatisfying dessert, we then went to the Belly Good Café to get a crepe which was filled with bananas, pecans and nutella. The guy at the store then proceeded to roll this thing up in pink construction paper. I can honestly say it was the first time I ate anything out of construction paper. After that, we walked back home and had a good night watching the most random tv ever, while eating sickening amounts of nutella and wasabi peas (not together, one after the other may be just as bad), and relaxing before

This even beats Chinet! In this picture, I am wondering why I am eating a crepe out of a piece of construction paper.
