Day 3 was an early start as we set off to visit the Golden Gate park. Our first stop was the Japanese Tea garden. The gardens were quiet and were a relaxing start to the day. There were many ponds of carp, statues, trees and flowers. A really beautiful garden to visit.

The next stop was the California academy of sciences. The museum had plenty to see and we spent a good three hours looking round. The most memorable exhibit for me has to be the albino alligator. There was a good aquarium section and the living roof was also interesting to see. After that we went for a walk through the park which was very scenic. We then made our way down to the seafront and ate a a nice restaurant that mainly served seafood. We then took a bus down to Union square, the main square of the city. There are plenty of shops and restaurants. We ended the day with a trip to the Cheesecake factory,a chain that seems to really excite the British, and in all fairness, the food is pretty good.
