We've returned to the States and have spent the last fives days trying to adjust. While we can't bring the beach, warm weather and relaxed lifestyle back with us, we at least have fish tacos in the States! It has been great seeing all of our friends and family again, and sharing stories. We've posted a few of our photos, but we'd really rather share them in person sometime. Brian and Nicole

Two donkeys driving to Baja in a VW bus called Jasper. May 2006. Brian and Nicole planned this trip in February. Brian has had the '79 VW bus (Jasper) since early 1994, and has driven it successfully to and from Alaska and New England (twice). Over the past few years, Jasper has shown signs of age and failed the smog inspection. After considering the option of letting weeds grow up through it in a field somewhere in N. California or donating it to charity for a small tax deduction, we've chosen to take hit down to Baja where there are no laws and she can live out the rest of her days in pe... full info
