The next few entries you'll get from me have already happened as you'll be able to see by the date on the entry. We left 27 July and returned on 6 August. We're home now and getting ready for school to start again on the 15th. Hope you've had a good summer and I can't wait to hear from everyone via comments and emails! Mary The first day of our trip started out extremely early in the morning. I picked Lauren up at her place and drove to Allyn's parents' home in Lexington. Well we are off in a few days to Laos and Thailand for our summer festivities. As Alice Copper would shout, "School is out for summer!" The flight is 17 hours nonstop to Bangkok and then we will transfer to the domestic airport for the Laos border. I LOVE THE OCEAN. I just have to say that. It's hard to say that this was the best part of the trip because of how great the whole thing is/will be... but I can at least say today on the beach has been as good as any other day (that says a lot). We got up, grabbed a bite to eat, walked over to the beach, and pretty much stayed there all day. The weather was great... and though the ocean was freezing cold, we still got to wade out and play in it. It's really not that bad once you get used to it.
