It is pretty neat trick to get your picture taken in Sydney in front of the opera house on a Wednesday morning travel 7487 miles on a 13 1/2 hour flight and get your picture taken in Los angeles at exactly the same date and time. Not so neat if you go the other way as they steal a day off you. where does it go I do not know. We did meet someone in oz who missed there birthday that way left the states arrived in oz without the day having ever existed which is just rude. Although Philip is contemplating flying from LA to Sydney every year on the 12th May so he doesn’t get any older he could stay 38 forever this way. An expense trick thou. Anyway he may be growing older but I don’t think he will ever be growing up.

So We depart OZ on the world biggest Aircraft the Airbus that just looks far too big to fly and you wonder how it does .Philip pathetic attempts to get upgraded fail miserably and we end up stuck next too two irrating Teenagers, I think there must have been something wrong with Philip's TV as it was stuck showing consecutive rom coms. So as we fly over the International dateline and start travelling backwards We decided to ring Bobby to tell him we are travelling thou time and well not so much space as air like Doctor Who. To hear Bobby on the plane phone while in the middle of the pacific was really cool even if cost the GDP of a small country and the girl next us gave us daggers for shouting down the phone. I wouldn’t mind she is only watching Titanic, get over it love it sinks and I guessing she seen it a billion times.

US immigration is one of the Hardest and most laborious in the world to clear so you really need to have you house in order. Stupid shows up without the address where were staying with no US money on us and without a working mobile our Australian one is not working over here and Tiger Air(arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr) smashed our English one. we are able to confirm to US immigration that we weren’t in the Nazi party between 1929 and 1944 thou(The world most idiotic visa question we even had to answer that for Bobby when he was six months old) and for the record why is it ok to be a Nazi pre 1929 if I d been around and was in it between 1923-29 would that ok were they just miss understood back then. Anyway I digress blame the jet lag. so we get refused entry on our first attempt and get sent to some desk by now I m thinking guantamo bay and orange just isn’t my colour luckily thou US home security allow us a phone call and we trace our address in LA,

Where Philip spends the rest of the day snoozing in the pool in the 90 degree los angles sun , catching up ,eating boss Mexican food and watching the toilet flush the right way round again.
