First Day L.A

Well we landed ok and managed to get through the flight. On arrival, you'll never guess what happened...only went and lost my bag...well not me, the airline. So all in all not off to a very good start were we!

Arrived at the Banana Bungalow in West Hollywood. Very impressed with the friendliest welcome i think iv ever had. Showed us around and what is where, how much it costs, told us about the trips they do. Checked into our room with a little balcony looking over the outside bar area downstairs....pretty cool.

The first night they had a promotional dinner on. Burger and Chips for $5 ....well we had to start the backpacking budgeting as soon as we got here really so went for that....not too bad, just need to get used to it really. Met a few of the people that are already staying here...and some of the staff too. All really friendly so we went to bed happy...(apart from the loosing of the backpack)
