We had a bit of a bumpy entrance into Orange County, but we landed safely and quickly found my parents at the John Wayne Airport. The kids did a great job and were excited to check out the beach. So, that was the first thing we did! We checked into our hotel, got changed, and then set out for the beach. Although the thermometer wasn't reading all that hot (maybe 65 degrees), the sun was beating down hard so it felt like good beach weather. In fact, the sand was really hot on my feet, and I thought I wouldn't want it any hotter. How often can you say 65 degrees is good beach weather? It was! The kids enjoyed playing on the sand and checking out the water with Grandma & Grandpa. I loved watching them enjoy the experience!

It was about 65 degrees out, but the sun was shining brightly. The kids were more than happy to play in the sand and check out the water with Grandma & Grandpa. The perfect start to vacation!
