YUMMYYUMMYYUMMY

Adam dumping the pooper! He almost lost his lunch.
We hit the road leaving Tahoe behind and headed to the next destination. Bishop CAlifornia. Just past Yosemite and West of Death Valley. We took our time on the 4 hour drive. We stopped and had lunch, took some pictures of Mono Lake, walked around Lee Vining...then we hit Bishop. A cool little town, a nice Main Street with a lot of shops. We drove from beginning to end in about a minute and a half (we got the green lights!). At the end of Main st., off Hwy 395 we took our right onto 168 on our way to the Buttermilks, a "climbing mecca." After an elevation change of a thousand feet or so we came to a dirt road called...you guessed it! Buttermilk Rd. We turn onto the road, which starts off smooth maybe for the first 1/2 mile. Then becomes bumpy! Very very bumpy. A "washboard." We drive this way, dishes clanking and all for another 3 miles. Thats when we finally see Gramma and Grandpa Peabody. They are rocks, or boulders(to be pc) not relatives. They get a reaction out of my little climber (Adam!) OOOOOhs and Ahhhhhhs. Because we could see Evolution and the Birthday

Boulders and, and , and. Oh Boy!!!
We ended up getting an awesome spot to camp. Panoramic views. It really is amazing. The first day, we met a kid from Oklahoma named Jack. He's camping near us with his dog red. Jack drives to town almost every day, so thats helpful when we need to get to the store. We don't have to move the rig. He also introduced us to the $2.99 breakfast at Piute palace. A casino in town. You just need a players club. Thats always nice. A good breakfast and a hand at the slots. Haven't won yet. Darn it!

We've had a bunch of guests come visit from Tahoe. So there hasn't really been any dull moments. The climbing is good. My project is a boulder called Robinson's rubber tester. Its a v1 slab. Its driving me nuts. I just want to top it out. Soon!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. Adam says I need a different pair of shoes. The rubber on mine is to soft. I guess thats why its called the rubber tester. Anyway, times are good. Stay tuned.
