On the Road Again - Texas/Arkansas

Our annual road trip begins...and miraculously we actually leave our driveway by 9:30AM! This is quite a feat for us as we are not known to rush to get going. Brenda and I always appreciate the fact that our kids are getting a whole different road trip experience than we had with our families. I know it's because our dads only had a limited time off for vacation and had to get to where we were going quickly because the time was going to end just as quickly. We basically drove today and ended the day just outside of Little Rock, Arkansas in a town called Bryant. We noticed our first somewhat cool evening...something South Texas has been seriously lacking for the past couple of months!
