Barge on the Mississippi River
Tom Sawyer's RV Resort, West Memphis, Arkansas

I'm a little behind in updating my blog...so many places to see, so little WiFi!

Don and I have really enjoyed taking our beagle, Blu, along on our adventures. He loves "going camping", just by saying those two words, he's at the door of the RV and ready to go!

We decided to check out Tom Sawyer's, mainly because it is positioned on the shore of the Mississippi River. The view was gorgeous, and our spot was two rows back from the shoreline. Blu enjoyed taking me on long walks down several trails available for walking, contemplating life, etc. We all loved watching the barges traverse up and down the river.

We also experienced beautiful sunrises AND sunsets. It really is a wondrous place.

The only disadvantage was we didn't have a tow car. I would have loved to drive into Memphis to eat and see the sights. Next time, that won't be a problem!

All in all, we had a great time and I would recommend a stay at Tom Sawyer's!

Next up... Muscle Shoals, Alabama
