Grand Canyon

During our stay at the Grand Canyon, we decided to hike down to the Colorado River and back in one day (which isn't recommended and made known by the many warning signs). But, I thought we could do it (and ignored the signs because I thought they were for wimps and people who were unprepared)...and I turned out to be right. It was probably one of the most physically demanding accomplishments we will ever make and we probably saw some of the best scenery in the world. Some of the best views were down at the Colorado, so we were glad we took a risk and went the whole way down. The way back up was very exhausting, but somehow we eventually made it to the top. An unbelievable journey.
