Winter in the Sonoran Desert

The first day in the 2015 New Year, it is cold and snowy here. The mountains across from the Roosevelt lake are known as the Sierra Anchas. They have a great amount of snow on them. The view of them from my house is lovely. The view from the Lower Cliff Dwelling (higher elevation) is even better. Attached to this post are photos from the first few days of the new year, and my first time experiencing snow in the desert.
