My mother, Virginia Bagby Askerman passed away tonight. She was surrounded by her three sons, husband, daughter-in-law, step daughter, and pastor. She died in peace and dignity surrounded by the people who meant the most to her.

The energy, compassion, love and support shown by all of you is testament to who she was. Even those who did not know her have been of tremendous help. Thanks you.

I am saying goodbye to someone I don't know, but she raised a great son. Goodbye Ginny, may your next journey be peaceful and full of love.

you open yourself to experiencing life, and to connecting to people..some you've known forever..some you may only know for a few moments. My sense of this is that the period of resting up, slowing down, opening your eyes and heart, was a gift, so that you could be open and present for your mom and family during her last days. I am so sorry for this sudden end of your mother's life.

Your sweet mom
Your mom and dad stayed at our vacation rental cottage here in Prescott when they first came down from Alaska. They were delightful people and we loved having them stay here. I was so sad to see that your mother had passed. I just want yor family to know what a pleasure it was to know her, if only very briefly. Blessings, Katie Baird
