It has been a very hectic three days.
Sunday was changeover day and we were off to L.A. Plane was grounded for an hour before we took off but eventually we were on our way. Arrived in LA at 6pm.
Hotel was okay with an olympic sized swimming pool.

Monday we were up early fro a tour of Bevilly Hills, a walk around Sony studios (used to belong to MGM in its hayday) a look at the hand prints at the chinese theartre then back to the hotel to pack for the journey to Phoenix.

Once out of Hollywood it was a long drive across the desert. We stopped at Palm springs for lunch. Had a great meal there in a diner. Temperature by then was 112
The inside windows of the coach were too hot to touch.

Then on and arrived at our resort at 6pm. Still 108 degrees but in a nice air conditioned suite. Saw our first real western cactus today.
