The vacation and 'mind-clearing' adventure has begun. I have landed at the Phoenix Airport and am on the way to pick up my rental car. Let's hope I luck out and get a good one. After a night of dealing with problems back at home, it's nice to finally relax and get away.

So, let's venture out and see how hot it really is in the Desert Southwest.
