A trip to the Grand Canyon

We took a trip to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas. We flew in a 19 seater plane - I was terrified. We flew up over the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and towards the Grand Canyon - such fantastic views from so high up. Brilliant. They were truly amazing. When we landed at Grand Canyon airport there was snow and ice on the ground, and it was very cold. We got in a coach and were taken to Yavapai Point. We got out and walked to the rim - it was FANTASTICALLY beautiful. The size, colours, depth, width, everything was stunningly beautiful. Amazing. Breath taking. We walked along a little bit and the views were so wonderful. We then were taken to Bright Angel Lodge, and again the views were excellent. We loved the Grand Canyon, we want to go back and stay there at the top, trek down and stay at the bottom, and do that when it is warmer! It was lovely - and such a contrast to the unreal and loud Las Vegas.

Amazing Photos
I think all the photos are just out of this world and are fantastic. I especially like those taken from Yavapai point - wonderful colours. It is now on my "must go" list of places. - Linda Mabley
