Slept in again. Awoke to overcast skies and moderate temperatures, although it's supposed to clear later and become fairly warm. Had breakfast in our RVs before leaving Homer and heading back north toward Anchorage, our final destination before flying home on Thursday. Devouring all of our onboard food supplies is a high-priority now as we have eaten out more than we thought we would. We're certainly glad that we did as we have eaten at some unique and fun places. We made a brief stop in Kenai, Alaska and then settled in back at the same RV park we stopped at before in Soldotna. Tacos for lunch. Al, the owner of the Kodiak RV Campground, gave us some Red Sockeye salmon that he caught and we grilled out for dinner. It was great. Cheetos were our vegetable. We reset for Kate it by giving him all of our leftover provisions.

A note from yesterday. In Homer Dave and I were talking with a very young commercial fishing boat captain. He said he was heading out in a couple of days with a crew of three and would be on the water for two months dragging a 3 mile long line. Wow!

Incidentally, just for the record, we are in Alaska. One of our follows thought AK was Arkansas and we were taking a very roundabout way to get there. I think they were kidding. I hope they were kidding!

Tomorrow on to Anchorage.
