Another Sitka day. Rain off and on with a few moments of Sunshine!! Had a delicious breakfast and excellent conversation with guests and hosts again this morning. Mike was feeling a little under the weather so we just kicked back today. Took a long nap, read, etc. Trying to arrange a king salmon fishing adventure for Wed or Thurs. The weather is supposed to improve by then.

Just entered South Dakota! First day of travel went pretty smooth. Minor change of plans this am. . . Had planned on taking my vehicle but at the last minute decided to take Mike's truck! A little bit of extra work - but I think it was the right decision. More room, better tires, 4 wheel drive for the snow that is predicted, etc.... full info
