Today we went to the Alaska SeaLife Center. It is a wonderful place to learn all about the oceanic life here in Alaska. We then went to the library to watch a film about the big 1964 earthquake. It was a record 9.4 on the scale. Between the fires from the refinery plants and the tidal waves Seward was totally destroyed. It took over 4 years to rebuild the city. Amazingly on 12 people were killed. We had some dinner back at our rigs then played a new card game we learned. Nice day.
