Ok so I've had my fill of flying for a good long time (hopefully)! My 3 legged flight was more exhausting than I could have imagined! I started out leaving from the Atlanta Airport at 4pm EST on the first leg of my journey to Denver Colorado. The flight was 3 1/2 hours long which wouldn't be so bad except I was sitting in the very last seat just in front of the lavoratory and next to a single mom of 3 lovely small children! Note to self...if I EVER have children no flying should occur until they are old enough to sit still quietly!! (Just sayin...) I obviously haven't flown in a good long while because I don't remember having a flight over 3 hours and not being served some kind of snack! We did get soft drinks and I could have purchased something to eat but wasn't going to pay $7 for a Ham sandwich!! I arrive and have about 30 minutes to kill before having to get on to my next flight heading towards Anchorage. This flight is almost 6 hours in length and still only soft drinks...no snack...no peanuts or chips...nothing! I try to sleep a little on the plane but oh no...not this flight...no body was gonna sleep on this particular flight because to my amazement yet ANOTHER small infant was on board and decided to scream the entire flight!!! Did I mention this was a 6 hour flight!!!! OMG...parents...why do you do this to yourselves and EVERYONE ELSE on board??? Just don't get it? Reminded me of that comic routine that Bill Cosby had where he tells the story of this little 4 year old boy named "Jeffry"! Remember? I know you do!! The entire flight this little boy was being a real terror and disrupted everyone on the flight! The very last minutes before the plane landed lil Jeffry decided to fall asleep! Yep! That's pretty much what happened here too! Oh well...I wouldn't have had that story to tell if that hadn't happened right?? So I arrive in Anchorage at around 10:30pm which is now 2:30am EST. I have about 45 minutes to kill so I decide that I'm getting something to eat!! My last leg is only about 40 minutes long so no chance I'm getting anything on that flight!! I pay $10 for a friggin Quizno's sub and a water!!! Holy smokes! That was the ONLY place that served food in the whole airport!! Ok enough of that...I board this plane and proceed to eat my sub which was delicious!! The plane takes off and immediately the flight attendants get up and start pushing a cart down the isle. You know what's coming don't you...yep you guessed it! The shortest leg of my trip and I finally get a stinkin snack and a drink!! I just paid $10 for a sub that I ate at 11pm/3am EST and now I'm offered a snack! God's humor is great isn't it??? LOL I just have to laugh...oh by by the way...no children on this flight...complete silence! Ahhh the sound of silence!!!

Ok so now I'm in Faibanks and as we are still in the air I notice that the sun is STILL OUT!! Looking like it wants to set (at midnite) but noooooo...still hangin around! I have now been in the air a total of 12 hours if you count the time changes and all! My uncle Sam picks me up at the airport and now we have a 1 1/2 hour ride to Delta Junction! I saw Moose on the side of the road like you would see deer! Crazy I tell ya! I wished I had my camera out cause that would have been a site for sure!! No worries, I'm sure I'll be seeing plenty of things I can take pictures of for sure! Not sure what we're gonna be doing today but I'm sure it won't be anything "typical" that I'm used to doing!! lol Sorry no pics this time!!
