Our last days in Anchorage were spent in a combination of seeing interesting natural and cultural sites, and doing the practical things we needed to do for moving on, like grocery shopping and changing oil in the truck. Ron and I went to the Alaska Native Heritage Center; the other four took a tram ride to see Denali from above (turned out to be a clear day for them!). We ended the day by sharing food and comparing notes about our day. I will let the photos below do the talking.

Cute puppies and cool whale bones
We saw a representation of a whale skeleton when we went up to Point Loma in San Diego. No whale sightings, but we did see dolphins when we went sailing in the Bay. Chase was our captain. I was lookout.
