We took this trip to Alaska several years ago. Due to the beauty of this vast wilderness I wanted to share some of the the pictures that we were able to take. I will always remember this trip and would like someday to return to see more. It makes you appreciate and realize the beauty that is around us and also makes you realize how lucky we were to be able to see it. We could not have had this opportunity without the hospitality of our friends that were living in Anchorage at the time. They knew where to take us and what we would like to see and I will never forget their kindness and will always appreciate their friendship.Hope you enjoy.

arrived at the river
This was about 45 minute plan ride from Anchorage to a river in the middle of no where. Then we got into a john boat and went up stream

they would catch salman trying to go up stream. We were about 50 feet from them in a little john boat. OMG!!!

This I will nevr forget. When she arrived she ran off all the other bears. No one was going to mess with a bear and her cubs
