Mashed in Mexico

It’s been a long day with two flights down to Cancun, Mechikkooo but well worth the wait! We arrived about six local time (we’re six hours behind you guys again). The first thing that was on our minds was getting out and having a good time, after all this was our vacation part of the trip so we plan on making the most of it. We headed out to a bar for some food which ended up being a club/bar so it was a bit crazy when we left with a huge queue outside waiting to get in.

Along the strip there was a lion cub and a tiger cub that Annie immediately objected to and plans on calling the Mexican RSPCA as soon as she’s sober! There was also a snake which Scotty ran from and monkeys which made us both sad!

We then headed to a bar on the strip and we couldn’t believe the prices, we had a free bar all night if we paid the equivalent of £6 on the door, we jumped at it!! We had a conga line and before getting up on the bar we had a tequila bottle poured down our necks (literally- they missed out mouths!). It’s been a really good night and we are looking forward to a long sleep for once and a relaxing day by the pool 😊

Hi Both, hope you've come around from your £6 hangovers and called the RSPCA :-) If not, Scott - I'm expecting you to go and personally rescue those 2 cubs and bring them home for company for Boris and Ike. So glad Isaac hasn't affected your trip, it sounds absolutely fab - sooo jealous!!! Keep up the foodie blogs, loving drooling over those pics as well as hearing your witty travelling tales. Don't drink to much in Cancun, (mm pot-kettle-black I know). Keep living the dream, and keep looking after each other. Fondest Love Auntie & Ike x
